Are you open to the public?

Yes, we have an hourly rate for non-members. We allow up to two people per lane. We do not allow anymore than two people for the reason of safety within the shooting lane area. Please scroll down to the bottom of this page to view Public Hourly rates and Membership information.

What are your age restrictions?

12 is the minimum age requirement to enter the range. For guests under 18, a parent or legal guardian must accompany them into the shooting stall.

What type of firearms may I shoot?

Our bullet traps are rated at 3600fps velocity. This includes most handguns. We also allow Pistol Caliber Rifles. If you have a question as to whether or not your firearm will be allowed, please do not hesitate to call us.

Can I shoot rifles?

Not at this time. We are looking at Frangible ammo for the future.

What is the maximum caliber allowed?

44 Magnum.

What does your retail center carry?

Our retail center carries everything to supply a shooter with all of his or her shooting needs. We carry firearms, ammunition, targets, accessories, holsters, cases, safes, and cleaning supplies.

What training classes do you offer?

R/D has a State of the Art training center equipped for the most comfortable training environment. We offer introductory classes for firearms safety to small groups upon request. We also offer the Florida Concealed and Carry Course (CCW).

I am interested in buying a firearm, what do I need to do?

Once you have decided on the firearm to purchase. Contact us for the necessary paperwork required for a Firearm purchase in Florida. If you do not have a Concealed weapons permit, there is a 3 day wait period. Everyone needs to complete a Background check.

Can I bring my own targets and ammunition?

You are welcome to use your own ammunition and non-offensive paper targets. We do however ask for your support by purchasing our items in the store. We offer a full line of paper and cardboard targets and stock several varieties of reasonably priced ammunition. Other places require you use their stuff. We just RESPECTFULLY request that you help us offset the cost of operation by buying local.

I want to shoot, but I have never shot before, can someone help me?

Not a problem. At R/D, we are here to help you with finding a gun for you that you will be comfortable with shooting. Time permitting, we will give you instructions on the proper use of the gun and go out on the range with you if you desire our assistance. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions about anything. The more you know about firearms, the safer you are.
